Folks:

 

This is a reminder to the District Chairs, that you must call your
conventions this week! Once you do that, you must send notice of it to Ms.
Kendrick.  Only D4 and D1 have provided notice to date.

 

600.1.2.3:A District Party shall conduct the business of their Annual
Convention in February, and shall be ready to provide notice of the
convention to the State Party Executive Committee no later than the first
weekend in December of the year prior

 

There is not much discretion if you fail to do this:

 

600.1.2.7. Any Affiliate Party failing to properly call its Annual
Convention shall be dissolved, unless, on the vote of the State Party
Executive Committee, they are given notice of the failure and given two
weeks to call a convention under such terms as the State Party Executive
Committee deems appropriate.

 

We do not want to dissolve anyone.  Please call your conventions - and
remember that the plan has to be passed by your executive committee!
Remember you can call telephone meetings to make this happen.
