[LPIL - Board of Directors] March BoD Meeting

Jim Humay SCC7 at lpillinois.org

In response to Jakes email, to say that I have held the interests of the
Mises caucus above the local, state and National party is ridiculous. A
major libertarian focused is event is coming to Chicago. Regardless of
which caucus or faction is hosting, I feel it is important for LP Chicago
to have a presence there and it presents an opportunity to grow party
membership, which is my main goal. A proposal was made, voted on and
passed. The case can be made that those that are refusing to comply with
the will of the chapter are putting personal and caucus interests ahead of
what is good for the LP Chicago and the Libertarian Party in general, not
the other way around. Removing my nomination from the Deputy Director role
also puts personal feelings ahead of what is good for LPIL. I urge Jake
Leonard to reconsider.

Jim Humay
Libertarian Party of Illinois
State Central Committee Rep - District 7
