Fellow Libertarians - If you are not a recurring monthly donor to the LP
Illinois, please visit www.lpillinois.org/donate to set. If you cannot
donate monthly, please consider a one-time donation. Also please
consider Lifetime Memberships.

If you are not a Precinct Committeeperson, please consider becoming one.

The petition drive for our statewide candidates is in full swing and
I've been on the streets. Please consider pledging signatures for the
drive if you have not done so already. I've pledged 1000 volunteer
signatures. See Bill Redpath to make your pledges.

In Cook County, the slate was not challenged and all 5 countywide
candidates will face off against Democrats in the general election,
assuming Republicans do not run for a vacancy. Sheriff candidate Brad
Sandefur successfully challenged the petitions of a neo-Nazi perennial
candidate and there will not be any contested primaries.

I sent an email appeal on March 22th detailing Cook County's court
victory and Libertarian candidates in the primary elections where the
party is established. No significant donations from this campaign, but
lots of good information regarding Libertarian candidates.

My all-time grand total is $7028.45. I set a personal goal of $10,000
for the year and hope to break that. 8 of the top 20 months for
contribution aggregate have been since April 2021. March 2022 saw
$1912.75, with much thanks to a Lifetime Membership.

Regarding my donations and possible others not registering, I am working
with Deb. Will report back when we dig deeper into the issue.

I connected with former Congressman Joe Walsh, who is flirting with the
party it appears by writing a piece for the LP News and participating at
the LPTX convention. He pledged a donation and offered his platform to
us.

I encourage those who won auction items to secure those items in our
archive at UIC to protect them from damage. Reach out to me about
donations, as I just received instructions from our former archivist.

Best,
Justin Tucker
Executive Director, Libertarian Party of Illinois
