The Affiliate Support Committee will be meeting Thursday, October, 5th, 2017. Our next meeting following the October 5th meeting, unless otherwise notified, will be exactly two weeks later on October 19th, 2017. The meeting is open to LNC Members, LNC Staff, State Chairs, Party Members, Libertarians, libertarians and invited guests. We are a service oriented committee so we encourage attendees to participate in an orderly manner. If you have a matter you wish us to consider please contact me in a advance if possible. Her election is in November, and she wanted to take out radio ads for one thing. Please note that the Campaign Support budget line has $22k left in it, of which $20k was to be used for a Campaign Support Specialist when $20k was moved from 45-Compensation to 60-Camdidate, Campaign, & Initiatives during the August KC meeting. Unless your motion includes increasing budget line 60-Candidate, Campaign, & Initiatives from $32,000 to $35,000, the number of hours the Campaign Support Specialist works will have to be cut. I got back one of the recordings from the 2 inch quadraplex recordings from 1976 and it is just beautiful! And there is footage from the 1976 LP convention. Something must be done

All, The numbers are very disconcerting. The following membership numbers sank from August to September: Bylaws Sustaining Members: 14700 to 14504 Active Members: 14411 to 14321 Clearly, we are in deep, dire, big trouble in little third party. Something must be done. We need new leadership, yesterday. Does someone have a Tardis? In other news.. 2017 Jan through Sept revenue exceeds the 10 year average by 7.65% which includes Convention years. Comparing apples to apples, it exceeds the average for the odd numbered years by 27.12%. Also, the 10 yr average for September in odd numbered years is about $122,000 and this year ended up somewhere north of $160,000, not including convention revenues and bequests. It is clearly a dire situation.. In yet other news.. Louisiana went up again. It was a modest increase but when most states still declined a little....I will take 201 over 200. In yet other news, my Dentist Dr. Jordan Ferrage, DDS is now a dues paying member to the National LP. What am I saying? I guess I am saying if you want National Membership to grow in your state... ask your Dentist to join. But if you REALLY want to grow membership.. you should have a Dentist in the first place.. That said, even though the LNC sucks at Life and membership retention we have fabulous teeth. Speaking of Life.. if you have not yet gotten your Life Membership and you serve on the LNC, I think we will be having another house party in New Orleans on December 8th, somewhere right off St Charles Avenue.. it's just a total guess on my part... book your flight in early Friday for the meeting. Chances are if I am already in New Orleans before noon on December 8th there will be a house party. Bring your check book. P.S. No cheese fries were harmed during the writing of this email.
