Good evening gentlemen, I would like to submit this proposal right under
the deadline.
This will give us a method to get some of the bad actors that occasionally
pop up in check.
--------------------------------------------------
Libertarian Integrity:
(a) During a general election, any registered Libertarian who has publicly
supported the opponent of a Libertarian nominee for local, statewide, or
national office may be ineligible to hold any Party office for a period of
two years following that General Election in which said Libertarian nominee
was on the ballot. Any dispute to this rule shall be referred to the
Membership Review Committee, who after review, will make a recommendation
to the Executive Committee.
(b) Any person who did not support the Libertarian Presidential Nominee
during the most recent presidential election shall not be elected to be a
delegate or an alternate delegate to the District, State, or National
Conventions, respectively.
(c) The State Executive Committee or affiliate Executive Committee may vote
to disavow a candidate or member who, in its judgment, exhibits excessively
disruptive or illegal or general behavior unbecoming of a representative of
the Libertarian Party.
A three-fourths (3/4) majority of Executive Committee members present shall
be required to disavow a candidate or member.
