   I am reaching out to request for an urgent constitutional matter now
   before the U.S. Supreme Court. We are seeking amicus support in support
   of a petition for certiorari filed by Tim Barton, challenging the
   constitutionality of civil asset forfeiture.

   Justice Gorsuch has long noted that the issue is “ripe for review” and
   invited an appropriate case to be brought before the Court - this is
   that case.
   We have multiple briefs in progress, including a joint one for Congress
   that we anticipate will include both chambers and parties.
   Congresswoman Nancy Mace is leading the Congressional effort and will
   be raising it this week with the Republican Study Committee (RSC).
   Tim’s situation is deeply alarming. Can you imagine if Mar-a-Lago were
   placed into receivership? That’s effectively what has happened to Tim.
   His assets are sold off for pennies on the dollar to fund millions in
   receiver fees.
   For context:
     * Tim Barton is the father of Victoria Barton, one of Secretary
       Noem’s top advisors, and a former business partner of President
       Trump.
     * This amicus is not about weighing the facts of Tim’s individual
       case, but rather addressing the broader constitutional
       implications of civil asset forfeiture.

   Our coalition includes:

     * Project Veritas (relocated from NY to Florida due to weaponization
       by NY AG).
     * John Koufos former director of TPPF's Right on Crime initiative,
       also Jenny Kim who is a director of Just Trust is supporting but
       cannot do amici.  Just Trust is the Koch Foundation's CJR arm.
     * The Bitcoin Foundation and several major crypto companies
       (Avalanche, Near).

   Also, we are also planning to discuss this on Bannon’s War Room this
   week, with prior coverage from [4]Laura Loomer and [5]Roger Stone[6].
   Civil asset forfeiture represents one of the most dangerous erosions of
   due process in modern America. Your leadership and constitutional
   advocacy would bring crucial visibility to this issue and help advance
   meaningful reform.

   We respectfully ask that you join our coalition in the defense of
   constitutional liberty. The deadline for filing an Intent to File is
   November 7.
