+Adding ramping BoD Board Members Cunningham and Olson

Not sure a motion is required for this, but since it includes a monthly expense, I have done so:

“MOTION for the Libertarian Party of Illinois to contract with Moellman Enterprises for $50/mo for a one-year term beginning November 1st, 2025 to manage and support CiviCRM-based CRM services to include the following services:

● Wordpress website hosting for content management
● Access to Client's data through existing Constituent Relationship Management (CRM)
access, with ability to add contacts that are connected to the Client in some way (e.g.,
website sign-ups, voter registrations, in-person interactions)
● Basic individual email services (e.g., user at lpillinois.org), up to 250GB total
capacity; this does not include mass email or broadcast email capabilities.
● Ticketing and project management systems provided to the Client to support their
end-users”

For the Board’s reference, attached are the draft agreement with contract terms, plus a draft welcome letter related to the above motion. (Chair Humay may have obtained a more current version of the draft agreement).

As for the August 31 deadline, this was a soft deadline and there is time for us to vote on this motion at or soon after the BoD call on Tuesday to get the ball moving with Moellman if the motion is adopted. In any event there will also be some supported services for us in LPIL from Moellman Enterprises between now and in advance of the November 1, 2025 contract start date, on a month-to-month basis to allow for CRM and fundraising projects, like our annual convention.

Since April 2025, there have been 2 public IT Division web conference calls with both Moellman enterprises and LP members from other regions whose state (AZ) have moved to an alternative option (Zoho) and those calls have been saved/recorded and shared or summarized in past board meetings.

Lastly, due to my travel obligations next week, I will be unable to attend the September 9th BoD meeting live. If I may be permitted, I will send a written memo in support of the motion on Friday and, if it is in order, invite anyone inclined to oppose this motion to do the same in advance of the Board meeting.

Live Free,

Bob Blair-Smith II
