Ken:

Greetings from Miami, where I currently am for the LNC meeting this
weekend.

I am forwarding this email to you and am asking you to forward this to
the LPIL State Central Committee.

I think I let the SCC know that there was potential litigation involving
the LPIL as a plaintiff regarding the ballot access laws of Illinois. I
was asked if the LPIL and I would be willing to be plaintiffs in this
litigation. I said yes, but that I wanted to review the Complaint before
I gave my approval, and I wanted the LPIL State Central Committee to be
able to vote on the LPIL's involvement in this litigation. But, I
anticipated there would be no problem with their the LPIL or me being a
plaintiff.

I never received any drafts to review, and I just received this email
yesterday and learned that this litigation was filed on August 9, 2024.
I have not had an opportunity to read the five attachments yet but will
do so ASAP. I doubt that I will have a problem with being named a
plaintiff in this litigation.

I do not know if RFK, Jr.'s suspension of his presidential campaign will
have an effect on this litigation.

If anyone on the LPIL SCC has a problem with the LPIL being a plaintiff
in this matter, please call me at 703-864-2132 (cell).

Thank you.
