FVLP members voted at this Wednesday's meeting to cease being an
official chapter of the LPIL. We will continue meeting unofficially on
the last Wednesday of the month at least through the end of this year.
I will continue to organize social events going forward. Please note
that future meetings will be held at the Village Squire in West Dundee.

We will close FVLP's bank account once final expenses are paid out.
These include $100 for Chase Oliver yard signs that FVLP will cover for
our members. It also includes $200 for production of a commemorative
video. The remaining funds in our account (between $400 and $500) will
be transferred to McHenry County LP.

We will leave our website and our Facebook page up for the time being,
in hopes that we can become active again in the not-too-distant future.

This is an unfortunate but necessary move, given that FVLP cannot fill
essential officer roles, and that our meeting attendance has dropped
over the last year or so to the point where we often did not have
quorum. Thank you to Paul DiMasi for sending emails to Kane County LPIL
members in June. Unfortunately, his efforts did not result in any new
attendees at June's or July's meetings.

Julie Fox
Acting FVLP Chair
SCC 8 Representative
