[LPIL - Board of Directors] IT Division Report (combined June and July 2023)

Good evening!

Linked from our document server is a (hopefully) viewable copy of the 
latest IT Division report.

This time it is longer than usual as we have 2 months of reporting here, 
with 4 new tickets (3 with National CRM) to work on, and we onboarded 
our new Volunteer, and launched two new productivity / communications 
tools for the Libertarian Party of Illinois.  I hope everyone has had a 
chance to use them and try them out; we (EVERY division) will benefit as 
we all become very familiar with the WorkDocs platform a lot, leverage 
our new phone number (217) 864-8337 especially the closer we get to 
convention season and campaigns in 2024.

I hope the above link works for everyone, and since the IT Division is 
new at this also, please be direct and contact me asap if you cannot 
view the document or use the public areas / files of WorkDocs.  As a 
reminder. your username/pw setup info was sent to you around Memorial 
Day weekend _to your BoD email address_.

Our Secretary Ken Mattes has view /edit access to this and most WorkDocs 
resources due to his role as secretary.  That said, if the rest of you 
cannot even view it, let me know so we can investigate, help you, and 
learn from it.   I don't mind if Divisions still use personal or other 
document platforms as you may wish, but just know that the IT Division 
does not advise using e-mail attachments and strongly recommends AWS 
WorkDocs for documents related to LP of Illinois party business.

For board members who wish to have their choices exercised, I will 
happily attach the above (or any particular document) for those that 
prefer to have it via e-mail, just let me know soon, if that is your 
preference.

For now, I intend to use ONLY links when sharing for better security 
practices and for preserving the storage our our email servers.
