[LPIL - Board of Directors] Update from the Political Division

All,

 

Candidate Recruitment Director Kevin Kauzlaric has notified me via Facebook
Messenger that he will need to resign. He attributes the resignation to life
being too busy to carry out volunteer tasks, combined with two jobs and then
family work.

 

While he would like to remain, the past couple months have just been
chaotic.

 

He will help train his successor, and I will help do my part as well.

 

Kevin's expertise has been more than valuable. Kevin stuck around back when
Kyle Symons was Political Director and due to scheduling conflicts, it was
essentially myself and Kevin, who was serving as Campaigns Director at the
time.

 

His dedication carried over to my leading the Political Division, and his
dedication paid off as I made him my successor as Candidate Recruitment
Director (CRD) as I made the step upward.

 

His knowledge, guidance and advice has helped many candidates that he or I
will admit, and I am sad to see him step down.

 

His resignation will become effective as of 11:59:59 p.m. on Saturday, July
31.

 

This means we will have a vacancy of a crucial role within the division and
should be filled ASAP. If you are interested in assisting candidates in
preparation for our upcoming election cycles, please contact me at

Beginning August 1, I will be handling recruitment matters until a new CRD
is appointed.

 

If you have the opportunity, please don't hesitate to thank Kevin for his
relentless work in the Political Division and for this party.

 

But from me personally, Kevin, thank you for all that you've done for the
Political Division and for the Libertarian Party of Illinois. If things ever
ease up in the future, I would - without hesitation - always welcome you
back to the Division in any capacity. You are a credit to this Division and
to this Party, and the next CRD has some mighty big shoes to fill.
