Committee

Youth Engagement

Meeting Info

Yes. So far it is only I and Justin Waldrep. We met on the 26th to
discuss the environmental topics and recruitment goals.

Goal Progress

We did get some interest in joining the party, or at least volunteering.
Some of which actually wants to help our presidential candidate (more
explanation below). Our goal is to get at least more 5 individuals to
join the party and be a member of the committee (not counting any
existing members wanting to help.) My tactics had shown strong interests
in joining the party ("strong" meaning waiting on payday/more money). I
begun communiting often with the KSU CL in hoping to get the president,
and the vice president to join the party and to be commitee members. 4
individuals had shown strong interests, and a few "maybes" and I will
continue to be in communication with them. So far: 6 voluenteers (hoping
to work for them for input/social media graphics, clean-ups, tabling
events on our two campus clubs and helping expand the number of clubs,
etc.) 2 members (not including myself)

Using monthly benchmarks for annual goals, how is your committee
fairing?

Meeting Goals - On Track for Success!

If Other, please elaborate.

Have you updated LPGeorgia.com with your latest event information?

Yes

How can the ExComm or another committee help?

Since I've gotten some interest in Jo Jergunson, I've been redirecting
them to the campaign website. When I get emails/texts from her, I'm
going to start asking them if they got the same email/text, and help
them with it. So I've been thinking since I started to dedicate my time
to the LP for 5-8(12 if need so) hours, 6 days a week (until election
day), what can I do, as the Youth Engagement Chair, to help with
Jergenson and/or our state candidates? I've been working on a plan to
massively expand my "radar," via social media (the best recruitment
tool). Even if I can't get everyone that I reach to join the party, I
COULD possibly have them, volunteer for the party. To see my plans,
regularly check the Youth Engagement basecamp.

Do you need to add anything to the Executive Committee agenda for this
month?

N/A

I have read and agree to be bound by the Libertarian Party of Georgia
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), signified by typing my e-signature
below.
