Hello Bill Slantz and Catherine Dreher, I would like to talk to either of you about participating in a US Constitution Education Program. I am working right now with Missouri Boys and Girls State to get pocket Constitution books to their participants. I also would like to get pocket Constitution books to members of the Missouri National Guard (MOU attached). Maybe members of the Libertarian Party in Missouri would like to help with this educational effort? Note the attached Federal and State Laws. In addition to these laws the Constitution State of Missouri states in Article 1 Section 5 "that all free public schools receiving state appropriations shall display, in a conspicuous and legible manner, the text of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States." Our office has printed 1,000 2' by 3' posters of the Bill of Rights that can be obtained from our office. If Libertarians can go to their local school and if the Bill of Rights is not posted they can give the school one of these posters to display in their school. I recommend that the Principal announces where the poster is and asks students to read and learn what is in the Bill of Rights Then after some time to spot quiz students about their knowledge of the Bill of Rights. I do this and give students a $2 bill if they get the answer right. Some other award can be given for getting the right answer. Please let me know your thoughts.
