Good evening all, Thanks to Randy for reminding me regarding the deadline for updating the party's information for the 2023-24 Blue Book. Unfortunately, that deadline is very quickly approaching and this fell off my radar which means it's "fire drill" time. We're pretty sure we have all of the information needed for the state committee and congressional district committees, but we need to call (almost) every county clerk for information. This is well over 100 calls and we don't have a ton of time to make them. All that said, I'm hoping I can find a few volunteers to help Randy and I make these calls over the next week or so. The deadline is officially end of day 7/31, but Randy believes we can get a short extension. If you can assist, please shoot me a message at dcoffell+lp(a)gmail.com. We'd like to get a couple of quick responses so we can have a short Zoom regarding what information we need and who/how to ask for it, with calls to begin on Friday. -Dustin

MSF Booth Attractions

Exec & State Committees, The penny poll has long been a staple at our booth at the MSF. My plan is to have a different one for each day of the Fair and have the staff member report the results to Facebook (Randy if not on FB) at the end of the day. We'll need ten of them so your (PG) suggestions are welcome! I'm introducing one for elementary kids. I had a stuffed porcupine LP mascot at our State Convention which needs a name. We'll have the kids complete a postcard with their information and have the Exec committee select a winner at our next monthly meeting. If there are duplicates, the winner would be selected at random. The winner will be awarded the Hero's of Liberty book Mark Twain. I've attached an example of each for your review. Exec Meeting Next Sunday - July 30, 2023

Exec Committee, It's my intention to hold our meetings on the final Sunday of each month, with the meeting call and proposed agenda to go out the preceding Sunday. I apologize for the misunderstanding and any inconvenience it has caused. We'll have our July meeting next Sunday, July 30, at 7:30. There are numerous initiative petitions and their various versions up on the Secretary of State's website. Are there any of these that we would want to support and promote at the upcoming State Fair? Numbers up. New Facebook record. Instead of saying I think our base is 75-100,000, going to start saying our base is around 100,000. Last year I think we got pictures of every person that worked the fair last year. Besides other social media they are stored here. Support Our Booth!

Exec & State Committees, Take a look! (https://lpmo.org/state-fair-volunteers/) We are woefully short the number of volunteers needed to staff our booth at the upcoming MO State Fair. While there is typically a lull in non-election year political activity, as I witnessed two years ago from the two major political parties, it is the perfect opportunity for us to promote libertarianism, the philosophy which girds our politics. We'll be using the Advocates for Self-Government materials to promote personal responsibility as expressed in the Non or Zero Aggression Principle which is a foundational moral statement of our Party. We'll be focused on educational freedom and providing a cardboard cutout of Mark Twain with a famous quote “I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.” We'll have activities for kids as well. We'll do penny polling, "let freedom ring" mints, federal & state constitution booklets to draw fair patrons to our booth. It is the perfect time to be encouraging the growth of County Affiliates by getting people to run for a Committee Person position in their ward, sub-district, township etc. Liberty is and will always be under duress. Liberty is our highest goal and we must be prepared to champion it. Volunteer NOW! Regards, Ronald E.
