Good morning gerrymanderers,
The U.S. Census Bureau intends to release its reapportionment data by April 30, commencing the 60-day window for political party state committees and congressional district committees to meet and formally nominate our state house and senate redistricting commission nominees.
If the Bureau somehow beats its own deadline by a week, LPMo can formalize our nominations at our April 24 state convention in Columbia. Otherwise the convention will be our opportunity to work out a schedule for the state committee and congressional district committees to meet and nominate in May/June.
