Reminder: 1/4 meeting is approaching

Just a friendly reminder that 1/4 isn't that far away. There are 10 proposals queued up for deliberation at the 1/4 meeting. I will need time to prepare the report in all 3 formats requested. We will then need one more meeting after 1/4 to approve the report, and then submit it to the State Party Executive Committee before 1/21. If there's something you want to have considered on 1/4, please let me know ASAP. I'll add it to the report. The more time to review it, the better. Time is of the essence. -- Ken C. Meeting Location for 01/04/2020 meeting

All - After researching what was available, the Fairdale branch of the Louisville Library is the likely location. This was my 3rd choice, but it was the only one with space available all day. On Saturdays, the library opens at 10am, and closes at 5pm. They would like us to shut down the meeting at 4:45pm so they can clean up and go home at 5pm. They are providing the large-screen TV and a computer, so we shouldn't have any spin-up issues. So we can start the meeting at 10:15am and end at 4:45pm at the Fairdale branch. -- Ken C. Rules Committee Meeting summary 12/04

All - As of tonight, we have considered 61 proposals, and have unanimously passed 60 of them; after compromises and addressing concerns. All that have passed, have passed unanimously. This is a good sign for the overall committee report at convention. For those who were absent tonight, and as a reminder for those who were there, we are NOT having a meeting on 12/18 and our next meeting is IN PERSON on 01/04/2020 in the "southern Louisville" area. I am still locking down the exact location. PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR THE 01/04/2020 MEETING. The 01/04/2020 meeting will be the LAST DELIBERATIVE MEETING for the committee. Our report is due on 1/21/2020. I will need time to prepare the report in the various formats requested, and then we will have one meeting after 01/04/2020 to officially pass the report prior to giving it to the State Party Executive Committee. Right now there are 10 provisions proposed, left to be considered at the next in-person meeting.
