Motion for convention space for 2023
I motion that we use $1500 dollars to lock up the Foundry on Broadway in Frankfort for the 2023 LPKY State convention on Feb 18 and 19 2023. note: the space is 1300 but I'd like 1500 just in case of other fees arise trying to lock up the space. a further budget for other convention expenses is still in the works. https://www.foundryonbroadway.com/ Speaking in favor of the motion: There are limited options in Frankfort. However, I think the symbolism of doing our convention in 2023 in Frankfort for statewide races is great optics. Also James did great work finding one last place that could do a saturday/sunday and has an open catering policy. -- Charles Altendorf Libertarian Party of Kentucky - 6th District Representative

I'll second this motion and vote yes. (that is unless everyone would want to wait until Thursday for discussion) On Wed, Jun 1, 2022, 12:35 AM Charles Altendorf via Lpk-execomm < lpk-execomm@lists.lpky.org> wrote:

I vote yes. And per Christian's comment, I have just a point of clarification: Is our next meeting not the in-person meeting at headquarters on Sat., 6/11 ? On 2022-06-01 01:24, Christian J Varney via Lpk-execomm wrote:
