I would like to ask that the following items be added to the call this week: 1. Disbursements (and a motion for D2) -- Clarify that Treasurer doesn't need permission from Exec to send; just needs to ensure we don't go negative -- Motion to disburse to D2 what it would have been otherwise given minus the "overage" to Bullitt, to disburse to recently-affiliated D2 county parties, and remove other previously-passed constraints on Bullitt disbursement. 2. Motion for Rules Committee reformation -- Operating Rules are still not posted. The draft version I have appears to contain unconstitutional items (dual-definition of Elections Comm, for instance). -- I seek to nominate members: R. Daniel, M. Gailey, C. Kendrick, K. Moellman, M. Randall, J. Redmon, B. Short 3. Motion to pay for data -- Data dump from Aristotle for Registered Libertarians including phones and cell phones - $364.62 -- Data append from datafinder.com to get phones/DOB for records with no info -- $261 -- Ken C. Moellman, Jr. 4th District Chair State Party IT Director Libertarian Party of Kentucky
All - As there still appear to be items that were discussed and missing from the Operating Rules (half of committee turnover) and because there are provisions in direct conflict between the Constitution and the Operating Rules, I will be asking that we reconvene the Rules Committee, with the hopes that it would be focused on three items: 1. Language/grammer/punctuation clean-up (non-substantive changes) 2. Discovery of items missed/lost/skipped (substantive and non-substantive changes) 3. Other proposals for better operations (eg. alternate Conflict of Interest proposal from convention) Also, as the Rules Committee, as defined in the Operating Rules as published, say the committee can be made up of 5, 7 or 9 members, with no minimum for quorum, I will ask that we appoint the following five persons, who are not candidates for office and who have expressed interest in being on the committee this term: ** E. Cranley, R. Daniel, M. Gailey, K. Moellman, M. Randall ** And I would be open to additional people, but these 5 have expressed overt interest in participating. I would ask this committee meet in-person once per month, to provide adequate time to discuss, consider, and cross-reference any suggestions. --- Ken C.
