I've attached a link to meeting minutes from 4/23 as the file itself is too large to attach to the SCC email list. In summary, we voted to amend Article VI. State Convention Section C. Delegates of the LPIL bylaws. The new text is: Any person who is not a member in good standing and resident of the state of Illinois for 120 days immediately preceding the State Convention may not be selected as a Convention Delegate. Any person who is a resident of Illinois within the 120 days immediately preceding the State Convention may be selected as Alternate provided they are a member in good standing prior to 30 days prior to the convention. Any person who has voted the most recent recorded partisan primary other than the Libertarian Party in a district where the Libertarian Party is an established party shall not be selected as a Convention Delegate nor Alternate. I will work with the IT division to update the bylaws on the LPIL website while we transition to a new document management system. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_SQyO5yIhRmN-WzUBltL0PFO6Yy5kFCh/edit?us... -- Ken Mattes Secretary, Libertarian Party of Illinois secretary@lpillinois.org 815 342 5177
