Re: [LPIL - Board of Directors] LPIL Board Meeting re. Platform Committee
We have decided on Bill as the primary delegate. Thank you Bill and Zach for attending tonight's meeting. I would like to continue discussions with Selah and Zach to determine our ranked alternates. There is no limit to how many alternates we can appoint, but only the seated delegate (or one substitute alternate) can vote in the meetings. Most states have zero alternates but Colorado has three. All delegates and alternates can participate in discussion during the meetings. These discussions are a great opportunity to develop committee experience and network with Libertarians on a national level, so I am especially interested in using this opportunity to develop new party leaders and/or candidates. Thank you again for your interest and for replying to the questions. We have three respondents and three open roles (one delegate and two alternates) so we can accomidate each of you if you like. Please let me know if you would prefer to be an alternate or would like to volunteer for that role.
The meeting is tonight at 7:30. The agenda is viewable at https://lpofillinois.awsapps.com/workdocs/index.html#/share/document/942c4c1...
Thanks again.
