Issue With Logging in to LPIllinois.org (CiviCRM)
Kelly, I hope you can help me or steer me to whoever can solve this CiviCRM problem. I've been unable to log in to the LP Illinois CiviCRM for a couple of weeks now. Here's what is happening: I go to the lpillinois.org site and enter my login and password. I then get my 2FA authentication number in my personal email. Then, no matter if I enter the authentication number in my login page, or click on the "Continue" link in the 2FA email, that is where everything stops. If I hit "continue", it stops at https://lpillinois.org/wp-admin/ If I enter the authorization number on the original login, it stops at https://lpillinois.org/wp-login.php?action=itsec-2fa&itsec-hb-token=act A few times, a CAPTCHA page has come up, I was able to proceed to the login, but it still hangs up as above. I've tried different browsers with the same result (I get a 500 error with Edge, or it takes me to the public site, not CRM). Also, once I've tried to log in, unless I clear all my history and cache, if I try again, it goes directly to the logout (https://lpillinois.org/wp-login.php?itsec-hb-token=act&loggedout=true&wp_lan...) Are you tying in the two factor authentication number in, or are you copy and pasting it? If copy and paste, make sure you delete the space in front of the numbers that populates when you coup and paste. Hi, I have kind of a similar issue to this and I've tried all the solutions you both provided Kevin, but even after I enter in the correct MFA code, I'm led to a IRL of https://lpillinois.org/wp-admin/profile.php but it says "This page isn't working right now" and that "lpillinois.org can't currently handle this request." I tried a couple weeks ago, and same thing. Kevin , it is possible that a cached password is overriding your efforts with 2FA. If Kelly's good suggestion isn't helping you, go to your browser settings , then history l, and clear the browser cache for the past day (or more ) and try again.
Otherwise it seems to me you're following the correct procedures.

The site seems to be working now with no issues, although I did hear of another member of the BoD saying there was a temporary issue with access on Sunday. TBH I was not made aware of any maintenance or scheduled Civi issues, but as of today, everything including updating / viewing lpillinois.org and functionality on lpmail.org (our email server) seems to be working fine at this time.
