In light of having a full board and poor recordkeeping by the George Santos Committee, the FEC announced they would be resuming audits on campaign finance laws for campaigns and committees.  On May 4, the FEC announced a new audit protocol for smaller political parties that will be used to audit them rather than full blown compliance audits that large political committees will be expected to comply with.  No audits are expected at this time but we need to be ready for one should we receive a notice.

As noted above, the cash on hand is a bit higher than it actually is as we had two transactions that occurred in April but did not clear the account until May.
