Team - I will be missing tonight's meeting and October's meeting because of the AF Writing Fellowship Program. For the month of August, I pitched to 49 individuals. $70 pledges. I have audited all pledges from April 1 to September 15. My calls to action have brought in a total of $6308. This does not include emails or voicemails, which are going to be more tedious to reconcile. July 2021 ended up being highest aggregate donation total in LPI's history with June 2021 still being the 9th highest. Convention packages and our generous recurring donations helped drive those totals and I suspect the slow down is related to the plateau in convention package sales. I suspect that August and September numbers are not complete as July 2021 numbers were down from last month's report. In addition to LP meetings, I attended Sunday services at New Beginnings Church on Chicago's South Side a few Sundays ago. Pastor Corey Brooks' Project HOOD has some of the same donor base as America's Future. I am interested in attending their 2021 Gala After Party to network. I have also helped secure venues for off-site convention fundraising events: an axe-throwing event with Spike Cohen and a catered brunch with Justin Amash. I am still working with Rep. Lauren Underwood's office about meeting with Libertarian constituents. As of now, it will be Zoom meeting in November and I am still ironing out details with her people. Thank you chapters in or near her district for helping organize. I am working with Les Defner with chapter development in the Metro-East and in Fulton Co. Fulton Co. had their meeting last Saturday and the Metro-East meeting will be on September 30th. Thank you, Les, Blake, and Ian, for your help, and thanks to those who have stepped up to help organize chapters in those respective areas. Hello everyone! I took the liberty of editing our trifold brochure this weekend in preparation for the convention. As Les has suggested, we should get more of these to 1) hand out at convention, and 2) allow chapters to pick up at convention to use at their meetings. August 2021 Treasurer's report

We are looking good going into into convention. We are slightly behind budget due to general donations however, we are ahead of budget for convention package purchases. We are ahead on net income as we are not spending funds right now. I would like to reward directors for not spending funds this year by allowing them to accrue unused 2021 funds to use in 2022. That is a discussion for the budget meeting to take place after the convention is all over. Hello Board, I just wanted to let you all know that our document archive is live again at this Google Drive link <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Pin6mwKD-q3rQEQy8uCSk8NS2bYtORUi?us…>. As long as you use this link provided, you should be able to add, edit, download, and share documents from our archive. After convention, I plan to have us all do a comprehensive look at what we have in the vault, including all training materials, guidelines, policies, etc. to determine what we need to keep and what we don't. I know some of you have already been working on revising your materials, but this is something the entire board should address. Updated training materials and procedures will help us get through the 2022 election season. Thank you all for all the work you've done. It's sincerely appreciated. Political Division Report - September 2021

All, I am not certain if I will be able to make the call, but I am sending the Political Division report early just in case I can't. If any of our SCCs would like to assist chapter chairs in coordinating contact with potential candidates, please feel free to contact them. As stipulated, the local chapters signified on some candidates were based on their home address - and it is possible that their district spans across multiple counties. Russ Clark's concern is noted. I did put in the notes within Divisional communications that if you need assistance figuring out which other chapters are within a specific legislative district, feel free to contact me. The only information I do not have right now is the new Congressional map, which is still being worked on. As always, if you need to contact me for any reason, you can likely reach me Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Tuesdays are often bad, due to it being publication day for the five community newspapers I help with editorial duties on.)
