If the at-large was not resolved through the majority's, then the rest of the board would have appointed individuals they chose. Last convention we did not get to the judicial votes, so the lnc chose the judicial candidates. The body had no say in those results. In my opinion this was handled the best way possible given the time that was left. I feel there would have been little change in the lnc regardless of how many more votes we had. If you feel the need to blame anyone, I did at the last moment at Alicia Mattson to my vote for at Large. Though this wouldn't fix anything it would have gave sheetz a chance. Though more accurately we could blame the hundreds of other people who left early. Question About LNC At-Large/Judicial Committee Votes

Hey Team, Our brand new alternate is asking us about how this was handled. It sounds like some are upset at us suspending the rules to elect these positions in one vote, especially given the first out in the LNC At-Large race only lost by a single vote. Victoria wants to know if we felt bullied in any way. It sounds like there is some discussion of fixing the vote for the 3 LNC At-Large that we got by suspending the rules, and every Judicial Committee member. -- In Liberty, Ryan Graham Vice Chairman, Libertarian Party of Georgia

Hey all, look at your schedule you see we have a break out of region to vote for our LNC people. I am making reservations for Walk-ons, a restaurant left across the street for lunch at 12:30 . Divest from the War Machine

I'm considering attempting a floor motion to try to get LP National on this page: https://www.divestfromwarmachine.org/coalition In case you're unfamiliar, the idea is to use whatever clout we have, through voluntary action and capital markets, to slow down the "military industrial complex" : to get individuals and especially institutions like banks and schools to voluntarily pull their money out of military contractors that profit from (and lobby for) unnecessary war. I gotta say, to me, this seems right up our alley. Why would we not want to lend our name to this? Anyhow, I've never tried to do anything like this. If you have advice I'm all ears. Should I do a written resolution? Do I have to specify implementation (presumably the actually reaching out would fall on the LNC)? Or any general thoughts, thanks.
