Hi, Ted and ExComm -
There is indeed news! We will be marching in the parade THIS SUNDAY. I've secured permission to use Doug Craig's 10-ft flatbed. We will gather near the Civic Center for staging, starting at 9:30 am. The Parade supposedly steps off at noon, but there's a longer-than-ever list of participants which will slow things down considerably. The route is the same as previous years - graphic attached.

Volunteers and participants are signing up on our Doodle: LP Georgia Takes PRIDE. All are welcome - the more the merrier.

We also have a banner which can be attached to the truck or carried separately, which reads "Celebrate Individuality." Although we don't have an "art party" planned for this year, we encourage anyone who wants to create and carry a sign to do so. Remember the social issues (anti-war, pro-inclusion, pro-criminal justice reform) work better with this carnival-like crowd than fiscal/taxation-is-theft angles.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello,

Is there any news on the Pride Parade? I can't find anything in Slack or on FB about the parade.
