Some of you might remember Devon Spiva from the pre-convention social at Akademia Brewing Company before our convention this year.

He is running for County Commission in Athens-Clarke County and is seeking our endorsement(it's a non-partisan race). I'm going to schedule some Q&A time at the front of our agenda for the August 12 meeting for y'all to ask any questions of him and then we'll vote.

Attached is my platform as it pertains to my commission run. While there are other policies that I support, such as the implementation of a harm reduction (parallel) ordinance, these are the issues I will be championing and making a central part of my campaign.
