How will the powers-that-be know who is seated as a delegate at any given time when sending out polls during the meeting? In other words, if there are people in Texas's 146-person delegation who are processed as alternates, but are serving as delegates, how will the people sending out the polls know this? If the polls are only going to only those who were on original delegate lists, but some of those don't even bother to participate that night, how will we make sure the polls are going to the alternates in their place? I am talking about the polling during business....not the balloting for P/VP nominations.
