--- Dear LNC, The COC has sent the AV contract to the Chair for his signature. The contract has been approved by both the COC and LNC Counsel Oliver Hall and has been signed by the AVG. The AVG has stated that they need the contract signed by the LNC Chair or other authorized person no later than June 22nd in order to prepare for the convention. The Chair ordered COC Chair BetteRose Ryan last week to seek another AV bid from the hotel's AV provider, PSAV, without once again consulting the COC. Ms. Ryan did so last week and gave PSAV a deadline to respond of end of business on July 12th. No bid was provided but PSAV did provide a cost estimate for electrical work that they are required to do and also an estimate for rigging which we won't need with the AVG contract. Just for comparison, PSAV charges about three times the rate for labor as AVG does in our contract. I would like to know if the Chair intends to either sign the approved AV contract or authorize Mr. Kraus to sign it tomorrow. If the Chair refuses to do then I intend to issue a call for an electronic meeting to be held ASAP to authorize another LNC officer to sign the AV contract. As always I remain willing to sign if that is what the LNC wishes. Let me know if you need me to set up a Zoom date to get sponsors. I commit now to sponsor and ask others to do the same. *In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum).
