I hear at least one LNC member is going around social media yelling that seven days is too long to take to cancel. First, that period will soon be five days. However, rather than raising hell on social media, I wish that member would be part of the solution. Once the smoke clears on all this, I intend to make a motion carving out a policy manual exception for cancelation to have a three day meeting notice requirement. See how easy that is? Cut the social media drama. It is childish. * In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum). I do hope you will join in such a motion if it comes up prior to your successor. Until such a change takes place, you are a fully acting member of this committee. Social media is a cancer. We need to solve our problems HERE. *In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum). Just call me out by name next time Ms. Harlos.
I have posted that I intend to abstain from this debate and other concurrent debates, as I will no longer be a member of this body once my successor has been duly elected. The ballot for that election closes tomorrow night, and Tuesday, I will no longer be a member of the LNC.
Justin O'Donnell LNC Region 8 Representative
