I welcome all who willing to support our Statement of Principles into this Party AND leadership if chosen by delegates
I do not tell anyone that they belong in a think tank or only as an activist. Our mandate is to give voice to and implement the Statement of Principles by using the political process AND education. Every attempt to change that in our Bylaws has failed. Anyone who us willing to do that is welcome. What people are hearing is that "you radicals are fine, not just here" - whether intended or not. I work as hard as anything ne else, and I belong here. I'm saying on this list just as I said to our vets, no, come in. You are welcome and productive. I think everyone needs to get off Facebook for a while quite honestly. I think we need to stop feeding this factionalization. I'm a duly elected radical of the anarchist persuasion that serves Region 1 in the political arm. I belong here as much as anyone else. Let's stop making people who hold our principles feel unwelcome because that is ALSO what's happening. Just stop. In honor of Lee Wrights, I'm not at war. -- *In Liberty,* *Caryn Ann Harlos* Region 1 Representative, Libertarian National Committee (Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Washington) - Caryn.Ann. Got it! It seems that I have to practice what I preach here. Emotions sometimes make us hypocrites. But, then we have to acknowledge that. I often say that we should not judge our communication solely by its correctness but also by it's results. The results of my communication have been a feeling from many that I do NOT want radicals or Anarchists in the LP. That is a failure of my communication. It is NOT what I wanted to say and I am sorry for that message. I both want and need you. My message was supposed to be directed at one individual. It looks like my emotions pushed it too far. Again, I apologize because that was NOT my intent. Thank you Caryn Ann Harlos for bringing this to my attention. I need to practice the same empathy that I expect.
