Los Angeles Airport Marriott or Long Beach Marriott are both good options. The Libertarian Party of California had its 2018 convention at the Long Beach Marriott and service was exceptional. On 2019-10-16 13:53, Daniel Fishman via Lnc-business wrote:

Embassy Suites LAX South is currently winning however only 7 of you have voted so things may change. Again this is non binding & there may be a "run off" poll with another option that has come up in the last few days when this one closes on the Monday. On 10/16/2019 4:15 PM, Robert S. OK Embassy Suites LAX South is the clear winner. So now we have the 2nd poll I was hinting about where we've added 2 other non LA options, one of which will be the likely 2022 Convention Site. So this poll includes Embassy Suites LAX, The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno NV (great skiing in nearby Tahoe) & the JW Indianapolis. The new totally informal / informational non binding poll is here: www.opavote.com/en/vote/6095577454477312 Voting ends Fri when the Chair might make a motion based on his interpretation of the results of these 2 polls. Actually outside of the city in the mountains has some of the best skiing in the country. Inside the city they are at a lower elevation & tend to not get hardly as much. They do get hit on occasion but they also know how to handle it. They actually only get rain or snow a total of 51 x a year so it's rare. www.bestplaces.net/climate/city/nevada/reno <https://www.bestplaces.net/climate/city/nevada/reno> Robert S. BTW I may have been incorrect on the location in Reno as we are talking with the Nugget @ potentially $59 a night plus possible free dinner at the steak house.

The new totally informal / informational non binding poll is here: www.opavote.com/en/vote/6095577454477312
Voting ends Fri when the Chair might make a motion based on his interpretation of the results of these 2 polls.

I would suggest that everyone check flight prices into Reno that weekend. From IND they are very expensive, much more than into LAX. Live Free, --- Sam Goldstein Libertarian National Committee 317-850-0726 Cell On 2019-10-25 10:54, Robert S. Kraus via Lnc-business wrote:
11 folks have voted & at this point Reno is the clear winner (over 50% picked this as their first choice) followed by LAX (only 1 persons 1st choice but multiple peoples 2nd choice).
Perhaps you all can discuss during your phone conference Sun & let me know the result?
Thanks & feel free to keep voting & I'll send out one more result Sat afternoon: opavote.com/en/vote/6095577454477312

Currently Reno & LAX are tied.
BTW Daniel Hayes says the Nugget is saying they'll give everyone a suite!

With 13 votes cast Reno is still the clear winner with 7 picking it first (2 2nd place votes), LAX had 3 1st place votes & 9 had it for their 2nd place vote. Indy also had 3 1st place & 1 2nd place & everyone's favorite 3rd place vote if picked at all. I'll let you all & the Chair make the final decision (just let me know so I can formalize the "deal"). Again Reno is likely at the Nugget for $59 a night & LAX is at the Embassy Suites at $137 a night. Robert S.
