I heard at the daily stand up meeting today that we are having a mass zoom test tonight unilaterally called by the Chair. To do this without asking people their schedules is not very considerate. There was already a meeting scheduled for the exact same time for the Platform Committee. Less than 24 hours notice is not being sensitive to the schedules of the rest of the LNC, and particularly the officers. I cancelled my Platform Committee meeting but that affects the lives of the twenty platform committee members as we now have to schedule. I would really ask that more courtesy be extended in scheduling these things. * In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum). This can affect inter-personal communication skills in both personal and electronic arenas. If anyone found anything offensive or overly off-putting (or some other social faux pas) in an actual email, please contact me privately and let me know. *
Dear Ms. Harlos, Everyone is busy in the fewer than three weeks we have until the originally scheduled date for the opening of our 2020 Presidential Nominating Convention, particularly with so many campaign events and meetings needing to be scheduled in the evenings. I was unaware of the previously scheduled Platform Committee meeting, but would not be offended if you chose that previous commitment over a project that you're less interested in. If there is an issue with you needing a Zoom meeting, I'm happy to connect you with someone who can provide access for your Platform Committee meeting so it can continue as originally planned. Less than twelve hours notice is unreasonable. I have my own zoom account to use for a platcomm meeting if I needed to. I do not however have a clone machine. If you could provide that, that would solve the problem. But since I do not think that has been invented, I have cancelled the platform committee meeting. I do not think the courtesy of asking people's schedules is too much to ask. *In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum). In full transparency, I want to circle back around and note that CAH had the date incorrect. The platform meeting is still scheduled, as planned, for tonight and while the short notice on the event was not appreciated, it did not affect the platform committee. Thanks for the clarification on that point, Richard. Advanced notice would be much appreciated for the next effort, however. --- Sam Goldstein, At Large Member Libertarian National Committee 317-850-0726 Cell On 2020-05-06 10:31, Richard Longstreth via Lnc-business wrote:

Yes both the committee Secretary and I had the platform committee date incorrect - it is tonight. *In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum).
