Our Bylaws specify that two of the members of the Audit Committee be from outside of the LNC. I solicited applicants from the state chairs. As of right now, I have received four applications. I have attached a file with their submitted information. The order presented is the same as the order received. Only the non-officer members of the LNC can vote, so I will not be placing these names before the committee, but I trust one of you will. Additionally, these are the individuals who have submitted their interest ahead of time. I will accept additional nominations from the LNC at the appropriate time on the agenda. I will have thirty printed copies of this document at the meeting. Geoffrey Neale
Thanks, Geoff. By the way, will you tell us who has applied to serve on the other committees for which you've received applications? I know I myself applied to serve on the Convention Oversight Committee, but I don't know who all applied to that or any other committees. Seeing how much interest there is in various committees could be useful for LNC members to know. Love & Liberty, ((( starchild ))) On Jul 11, 2012, at 9:47 AM, Geoffrey Neale wrote:

I am preparing to leave early tomorrow morning for Las Vegas, and will not be able to fulfill your request. I'm sure the LNC members will be willing to apprise you at the LNC meeting. Aaron Starr, the current Chair of the Audit Committee, has indicated to me that he would be interested in serving on the committee again, so I'll be placing his name in nomination. It seems completely superfluous to waste paper distributing a resume at the upcoming meeting, since I assume that everyone is very familiar with Aaron (regardless of whether your opinion of him is favorable or unfavorable). Nonetheless, if there is a member of the LNC who feels the need for more information about his qualifications in order to make an informed decision, please contact me or Aaron. Dan Wiener

From the Policy Manual:
2) Committee Terms of Office The terms of office of all project managers, committee chairs, and committee members shall expire with the administration that appoints them, or when their successors are chosen, whichever occurs first. In other words, all committees that have not been populated are vacant, and have been since the convention.
