Bob asked me to send these details.  I did not do this on my own.  He made a specific request to me about a month ago and this is the third one I sent.

I do think committee listings should be listed.

But this was not my doing.  I was pleased to get the direct request and felt it was the Party moving in the right direction.

I am very puzzled about what was triggering about my email and would appreciate clarification.

There are pros and cons to listing them:

1. The work involved (it's not that bad--would fall on Bob Johnston's plate most likely)

2. sounding a bit bureaucratic if we have a zillion committees and meetings listed (although that will show more how much work the LNC and it's subcommittees do).

3. Most people aren't going to be interested in particular meetings--on the other had, we list the state conventions and on average around 98% of our readers aren't going to be interested in a particular state convention.

Anyway, we can do it. I think in the short run I'll leave it to the respective committee chairs. If you want your committee meetings listed, start by sending a note:
