I normally am not in favour of such policing (as with caucuses) but this is different as it gives the impression that we are promoting one candidate over another which we are not allowed to do. That group should have chosen Libertarians for Amash or something similar. I would favour a take down notice. *In Liberty,* * Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome (part of the autism spectrum). LNC members,
Please see the link that Jared Hall, the LPIN Political Director has sent. This group isn't tied to , nor authorized by, the national Libertarian Party. Yet, are using the name "Libertarian Party" in their fundraiser attempts. I think a proper 'take-down' action needs to be implemented asap.
Also, Jared Hall wrote, and I think it's worth quoting here:
"Keep in mind, that although I am bringing this to attention, it bears no weight on the particular candidate with whom this alleges to support, and I would do the same if it were in support of any other candidate, regardless of the level of office being sought."

I believe our bylaws state who is and isn't allowed to use the name "Libertarian Party." Article 5, Section 1 states the following:
"No person, group or organization may use the name "Libertarian Party" or any confusingly similar designation except the Party or an organization to which the Party grants affiliate party status or as otherwise provided in these bylaws."
As such, I believe the following to be fraudulent at worse, and an oversight at minimum by this individual:
https://donorbox.org/libertarian-party-for-amash-id-c00745463
https://www.fec.gov/data/committee/C00745463/
I also request that this be sent to the business list if need be.
Keep in mind, that although I am bringing this to attention, it bears no weight on the particular candidate with whom this alleges to support, and I would do the same if it were in support of any other candidate, regardless of the level of office being sought.
