The APRC has worked with staff on the wording as it currently sits insofar to be clear it represents the SoP and platform. I dislike the issues section immensely and Michael’s problems with it are a good example- it attempts to replace the platform and never ever will make everyone happy and never goes through the delegates or a committee they authorized. This brings up a whole host of past controversies surrounding the website and a few past LNC members. The issues section should lead to a selection of resources on the issues and not one essay. I think Richard is probably referencing LP.org/issues.
Staff has plans to spend time on these in December.
LNC members could certainly work on this with us.

Do we have an Issues Committee or something similar which can re-examine our issue blocks on the website? Michael Wilson has some good ideas. We are all sent one last night. He also emailed me seperately and noted that we did not have a listed stance on lanf use laws or urban transit; issues which are important to him and have been for years. If we don't have any such committee, is there preliminary support enough to add something like this to our upcoming agenda? Richard
