Steven I also sent a small donation. I encourage everyone to do so.
But it really impressed me the different results of our words. We encouraged persons living in a repressive regime to start a full blown Libertarian movement. Wow. I'm from Florida/ I know what a big deal this is.
And in AK we disappointed our own affiliate because we thought it a "waste of time" to approve a resolution that meant a great deal to them AND that they could have used to great effect. A different kind of wow.
Let's not be so stingy with our words and time.
I will likely bring another version of the marijuana resolution and ask the LNC to support it.
I believe I helped build bridges between our AK affiliate yesterday at convention and national - let's show our good will in return.

That is fantastic.

Thank you Caryn Ann,
I have been in contact with Mises Cuba since the incident, I was unaware of their existence until then. I am currently working with local libertarians in Florida on getting necessary supplies to operate their chapter and library over to Cuba and I plan on visiting them pesornally soon (Cuba is only 90mi away fron Key West.)
Sincerely,
Steven Nekhaila

They do lead to action.
And while at the Alaska convention - the fact that the LNC did not pass a resolution targeting a very winnable and important issue to them
did come up.
I will likely bring it again.
And will be asking again on behalf of Alaskan Libertatsrians to pass it.
What we did meant a great deal to the Cuban Libertarians.
I think we need to think twice when our words mean so much to the people asking for them.
