My opinion on this is that the convention does have the authority to resolve that the 7 individuals receiving the highest vote totals at the adjournment of the 2018 convention shall be considered the acting Judicial Committee for all intents and purposes until the 2022 convention where regular elections shall resume. I haven't put this to language yet, but I believe that such a resolution is within the authority of the convention delegates. -----Original Message----- From: Lnc-business <lnc-business-bounces@hq.lp.org> On Behalf Of Caryn Ann Harlos via Lnc-business Sent: Saturday, March 14, 2020 1:28 PM To: Libertarian National Committee list <lnc-business@hq.lp.org> Cc: Caryn Ann Harlos <carynannharlos@gmail.com> Subject: [Lnc-business] I am confused I keep hearing discussions about how we can fix the JC issue this convention through a suspension of the Rules but the JC is under the Bylaws not the Rules and Bylaws cannot be suspended.
