Dear Mr. Merced, It's a fake account and has been reported. The final character is an uppercase “i” so it looks the same, but it lacks our verification checkmark. As an aside, you could have contacted the Executive Director about this directly, but you chose to make this a post to the public list instead. There are some discourteous members of our board that make a habit of putting questions to individuals on a public list that receives hundreds of messages (often from the same person) per day, rather than using a direct email or phone call to ask their question. You don't do that generally, but I'm disappointed that you did it this time. People on this board should know how to ask other members and staff direct questions without making demands on the time and attention of every other board member. I have a serious problem with using the LP twitter for personal twitter arguments. Please keep it to your personal twitter accounts. Party media assets should not be used to engage in whatever chips people have on their shoulders.
I don’t care what people do on their personal social media accounts but a National Party’s social media should not be seen making meaningless potshots but instead focus on policy, party matters and the National discussions in away that is not inside baseball.
This does seriously bother me, it’s a misuse of assets we’ve been entrusted to use responsibly.
