My question is what will be the location for the convention which is included on these forms? --- Sam Goldstein, At Large Member Libertarian National Committee 317-850-0726 Cell On 2020-05-22 08:40, Caryn Ann Harlos via Lnc-business wrote:
I had already indicated that I was comfortable signing them if the LNC bifurcated the convention which I believe is in accordance with our bylaws. I do not appreciate your belittling of my position by the use of scare quotes.
However I’m also aware that the objectionable language is not required so I think your attempt to force the issue by using the exact same forms is dishonorable.
If the physical convention is canceled by some act this weekend then my position may change and I have secured the agreement of counsel to represent me in modifying the forms to be in accordance with state laws in those states and truthful.

Dear All,
Attached are the nomination forms printed and signed by the convention chair and secretary in 2016 after the nomination of Gary Johnson and Bill Weld. They are in two separate attachments, one for Kansas, which had an early deadline, and one for the other 56 jurisdictions.
To maintain ballot access in the maximum number of states, it is my intent to send these signed forms out on the first business day after the online convention that will be gaveled in tonight and completed over this weekend.
The Secretary has previously indicated a belief that she could not in good conscience sign these forms after the close of an online convention without a belief that she would be engaging in “perjury.” Is it still the case that the Secretary would object to signing these certificates of nomination this coming week after the nomination of President and Vice Presidential candidates in our online convention and in advance of a second sitting of the convention in Orlando in July?
Yours truly, Nick
