Motion to rename the IT committee

Dear colleagues: I hope all is well with you. At the request of my distinguished Libertarian Party of Virginia colleague Juanita Billings, I submit the following motion for consideration at the Libertarian National Committee meeting in Reno: The name Information Technology Committee is changed to Information Services Committee. Ms. Billings, the vice chair of the Libertarian Party of Virginia, is a member of the Information Technology Committee. She has prepared some comments about the motion; in a separate message I shall send you a PDF containing her comments. As always, thanks for your work for liberty. LNC contact and Staff email list

I'm not sure who handles these tasks, but am hoping this will get to the correct person. A recent correspondence to the LNC had Johnny Adams listed as a recipient, instead of Francis Wendt. This is because the drop-down menu on the LP website, still has "Johnny Adams, Region 1 Alternate", instead of Francis Wendt. Within the LNC address book, where internally we might look for contact information, both Johnny Adams and Jeff Lyons are still listed. Instead of the new Alternates, Francis Wendt and Pat Ford, respectively. There are also numerous LNC staff listed in the "LNC Staff" section of the Address Book, who're no longer staff. Some haven't been staff for quite a while. I also fail to see some new staff listed, which would cause an LNC member to not have a good method of contact for individuals. I think it would be good if there was a procedure in place for updating both the LP website, and our internal emails. This procedure should cover both LNC members and LNC staff contact information. some you heard about my accident

I had a really nasty fall in Denver and slammed my head into the concrete. I got my checkup yesterday and am now past the window where if signs of serious injury would appear. I'm just sore but otherwise fine. I have a really hard head as you all know. The only remaining concern is a borderline arm or hip fracture since the soreness there is pretty extreme. Waiting over the weekend and if still that sore, going for xrays.
