Dear All, I expect that members of the Libertarian National Committee will disagree with each other with respect. I expect that after the Libertarian National Committee comes to a decision on an issue, be it the purchase of an office or the choice to make a goal a certain number of candidates running for public office, that every member of the committee will either support the goal or at least stop trying to publicly fight against it after they've lost. I expect that every member of the Libertarian National Committee will be polite and respectful to the rest of the members and to the national office staff. If anyone is unwilling or unable to meet these expectations, I will happily accept your resignation from the Libertarian National Committee and wish you the best of luck in whatever future endeavors you choose. Dear All, Attached is a proposed agenda for the upcoming electronic meeting. I believe I've included all items that were not disposed of in the meeting we had earlier this month in Alexandria. As you can see, we are presently 15 minutes over the allotted time for the meeting, but I'm optimistic. Attached please find the updated Policy Manual reflecting the change made at the last LNC meeting. Additionally, as is my custom, the table of contents has been hyperlinked for easy reference, and I additionally added links to the motions in the Log of Changes. It is my hope that these sorts of conveniences make things easier, not for us, but for the interested membership. Attached please find draft 2 of the LNC minutes for the last meeting. The PDF is the complete document including appendices, and the word document is just the minutes (minus appendices). Please send me any comments or suggestions. I had/have run into some technical difficulties (some of which Alicia and I discussed offlist) with the insertion of the appendices in way that would keep the headers and footers with page numbers intact - and this actually took quite a bit of investigating and I now know more about some of the foibles of Word and Adobe than I ever wanted to know. The September OCR issues have been corrected as well, and hyperlinks added to that document (i.e. clicking on any subject in the table of contents and in internal references to appendices takes the reader to the correct page). As usual I thank Mr. Dehn and Dr. Moulton for their proofreading assistance. If you go to the UStream, you will also see that I have indexed the video for easy reference.
