The November End-of-Month Financial Reports are attached. The reserve had dropped to $55,635, which is slightly below the target of $57,042. As of 4:50PM ET, email service on the shared email server is functional again. Some email may be delayed in its delivery, but little-to-no email should have been lost. Messages sent to mailing lists during that time should be checked to verify they were delivered. There will be a planned maintenance on Thursday night to complete additional tasks around the configuration on the mail server. On Friday December 29th, our mail server was under attack from a Botnet brute-force attack. Emergency patches were installed on Friday, and additional anti-spam and anti-hacking measures were put in place on Saturday and Sunday. One of those changes broke the Webmail interface. The fix to the Webmail on Monday afternoon broke the mail server itself. After many hours of repairing the system, we're back online. Long term, there are a couple of potential solutions being examined to make it far easier to recover in the future.
