Dear All, I expect that members of the Libertarian National Committee will disagree with each other with respect. I expect that after the Libertarian National Committee comes to a decision on an issue, be it the purchase of an office or the choice to make a goal a certain number of candidates running for public office, that every member of the committee will either support the goal or at least stop trying to publicly fight against it after they've lost. I expect that every member of the Libertarian National Committee will be polite and respectful to the rest of the members and to the national office staff. If anyone is unwilling or unable to meet these expectations, I will happily accept your resignation from the Libertarian National Committee and wish you the best of luck in whatever future endeavors you choose. goals adopted today

I've had two region reps request that I provide copies of the 6 goals the LNC adopted today. They are (in descending order of support level): 1. 1000 candidates in 2016 2. Take action to see that each state has operational affiliate by June 1, 2015 3. 300 candidates by 2016 trained in Who’s Driving 4. Updated issue-based outreach literature this term 5. 38-state party-status ballot access as of Dec 1, 2016 6. 200 elected Libertarian officials in Dec 2016 Alicia Mattson LNC Secretary

Hi all, In my role as region 0 rep, I submit the following, posted on Alicia Dearn's campaign page, at the request of an sc delegate. A question about the validity of this kind of outside influence was raised.: Now that the vote is completed, I wish to explain myself. I learned that the poll companies (and perhaps CPD) stated that they wouldn't include libertarians without Weld. They've agreed to include us if he's the pick. No Weld, and we get shut out again. I learned this over the lunch recess while I was preparing for my speech. It was a really good one too. The GJ campaign didn't ask me to quit or tell me that. I got that message directly from someone outside the party. We can't fight for Liberty with our hands tied behind our backs. So I asked Weld to swear to me that he wouldn't screw us. And he did. He seemed sincere. I said real libertarians need a seat at the table and I got his, Gary's and Ron's word that we would not be shut out and that our principles would be protected. I did it so that we can have ballot access and make gains for all down line libertarians. It was force by non-libertarians but I took it so we can stop force and oppression going forward. It was awful. I'm not bullish on Weld and I was honest about that. But we need to advance for the sake of liberty and the sake of our country.

Libertarian Youth Caucus

Dear LNC, There is a request from the Libertarian Youth Caucus Currently, there is an inactive group called the Youth Caucus of the Libertarian Party. They have facebook page that people often mistakenly join, looking for the Libertarian Youth Caucus. The highly active libertarian youth caucus wishes merge the pages. They have sent a request to the apparent leadership of the Youth Caucus of the Libertarian Party, without response. I have the technical ability to allow it. However, as both are independent caucuses, so I'm not sure if we, or anyone has the jurisdiction. Dear LNC, With the convetion near and a very competitive election looming on Sunday, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you fot your productivity and civility over the past two years. This is my third term on the committee and the first in which the members seemed to be able to work together for the good of the party rather than personality conflicts and factionalism being the order of the day. I am looking forward to a very exciting convention with a unfied party moving forward toward November with the goal of returning liberty and freedom to the national discussion through not only our POTUS nominee, but with hundreds of Libertarian candidates across the country. And, if the delegates approve, I'm looking forward to working with many of you over the next two years! We have a correct April Financial Statement. A $7,000 payment was made in March to pay down the principle on the mortgage, and this had to be subtracted from the restricted funds. Tim Hagan
